Bali has always been one of the top destinations for prewedding photos. It’s no surprise, as the island is blessed with an abundance of beautiful landscapes to use as backdrops for your photos.

In this article, we’ll be going over some of the best prewedding photo locations in Bali.

Lake Tamblingan

Located in the Buleleng Regency, Lake Tamblingan is known for its serene and almost mystical quality. The views are especially beautiful right after sunrise when the skies are still blanketed with different shades of dark navy and very light blues. Those who want to have prewedding photos here can rent a small boat and take their pictures in the middle of this serene lake.

Melasti Beach

Melasti Beach is one of those locations where the scenery just speaks for itself. The limestone cliffs serve as a brilliant background for photos with your significant other.  The beach itself is arguably one of the prettiest in Jimbaran. It makes for a beautiful prewedding setting.

Tegalalang

If you’ve ever seen those beautiful rice terraces in banners, posters or flyers, there’s a good chance they were taken at Tegalalang Rice Terraces. Located just half an hour north of Ubud, Tegalalang is an amazing spot for a prewedding photo. You’ll be surrounded by magnificent rice paddies, all organized neatly in a cascade of greens.

Balangan Beach

Balangan Beach is another location in the Jimbaran area where visitors get open views of the vast Indian Ocean from atop limestone cliffs. The cliffs make for a stunning backdrop for your prewedding photos, especially if taken during the golden hours in the morning, or right before sunset.
